Hammers lose Reid to shoulder injury

West Ham defender Winston Reid has been ruled out for more than a month after he dislocated his shoulder on Tuesday night in the 0-0 draw with Bristol City.

The New Zealand defender, 23 was withdrawn after seven minutes and a scan revealed he had dislocated his shoulder.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce said: "If we are lucky he will be out for four to five weeks, if it doesn't need an operation or pinning."
