Hammers let slip again

After conceding two goals to deny themselves all three points against Birmingham last weekend, the Hammers were at it again last night, conceding whilst 2-1 up to drop points against a decent West Brom side. The Hammers had come from behind through Scott Parker and a Frederic Piquionne penalty but once again a lapse in concentration to allow Pablo Ibanez to deny West Ham what would have been only their second win of the whole season. Despite being unable to convert winning positions into points Avram Grant insists that his squad will start winning soon as they battle to stay in the Premiership.  “I want to take points, not because anybody else wants to take them. “I want to take points because I want to take points, because I think we deserve to take points.  We need to get a win and we are very close to it. “I think when the first win comes we will win more games, because we are playing football the right way.”
