West Ham defender Danny Gabbidon has been handed an `improper conduct' charge by the Football Association following comments posted on his Twitter account. Gabbidon posted an foul-mouthed message in the wake of his side's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on April 16 and has since closed down his account. The 31-year-old wrote: "U know what, f the lot of you, u will never get another tweet from me again, you just don't get it do you. Bye bye." The FA confirmed they had charged Gabbidon for his comments in a statement. "West Ham United defender Daniel Gabbidon has today been charged with Improper Conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute by The FA," the statement said. "The charge follows media comments made on Twitter on 16 April 2011."
