Former Spurs defender Davenport set to leave West Ham for Sunderland

Davenport is on his way[LNB] Sunderland [LNB]boss Ricky Sbragia was closing in on a new defensive recruit after West Ham's[LNB]Calum Davenport headed north.  [LNB]It is understood the 26-year-old central defender was undergoing a medical on Wearside this afternoon as the transfer window entered its final few hours.   [LNB]A successful completion of the move would see Bedford-born Davenport link up with former Hammers team-mate Anton Ferdinand at the Stadium of Light.
