Five players West Ham could and should sign

West Ham United have already completed the signings of Andy Carroll, Adrian and Razvan Rat and they still look to complete two more.

After failing with to partner Andy Carroll with Duvan Zapata, Wilfred Bony or Salomon Kalou, the Hammers have found more realistic and reasonable targets.

It is believed that the main priority is to sign a striker, after the Hammers remain with just two (Carroll and Maiga), after Carlton Cole was released and loans Marouane Chamakh and Wellington Paulista expired.

The Hammers could be looking to sign Raheem Sterling on loan after Jack Sullivan (chairman’s son) wrote on his twitter,“We hope to sign a right sided striker within 48 hours. Terms agreed with his club. He’s a very exciting prospect”. Nobody is certain that he is talking about Sterling.

Emmanuel Emenike- 26 year-old Nigerian international striker playing for Spartak Moscow.

Reports say Spartak want £8m and others say it could only be a loan. The transfer depends on whether Spartak Moscow can recall striker Artyom Dzyuba, who is on loan at FC Rostov. The Russian has scored six goals in the first three games at the club. Galatasaray are also strongly linked to Emenike.

Robert Snodgrass- 25 year-old Scottish international winger or striker playing for Norwich City.

Some sources are saying that Norwich are asking around £5m for Snodgrass, however manager Chris Houghton has warned off clubs making a move for him. Snodgrass recently missed a friendly with Norwich, but explained that it was due to family problems rather than a move to West Ham.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic- 25 year-old Serbian international midfielder currently playing for Inter Milan.

Sam Allardyce understands that a bid of £5m is enough for his services, but is concerned about his striker worries. Kuzmanovic started just ten times for Inter last season. Some sources say Kuzmanovic has turned down a move to West Ham, but nothing is certain.

Scott Parker- 32 year-old English midfielder currently playing for Tottenham.

The former Hammer spent four years at Upton Park and received three Hammer of the Year awards in a row from 2009-2011 and a FWA player of the year. Parker is currently on £70,000 a week at Spurs and West Ham have asked him to take a pay cut to complete a return to Upton Park.

Loic Remy-26 year-old French striker playing for Queens Park Rangers.

Remy has attracted West Ham’s attention for the past couple transfer windows and is most likely to sign the third time around after the R’s relegation at the end of the previous season. QPR manager Harry Redknapp has said he is desperate to get Remy off his wage bill. Newcastle are interested in a loan move for the Frenchman.
