Driver on road to pro deal

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has handed a first professional contract to Academy graduate Callum Driver.[LNB] The 18-year-old full-back, who impressed for the Hammers' reserves last season, has joined fellow youngsters Jordan Spence and Callum McNaughton in committing his future to Upton Park.[LNB]"Obviously I want to play for West Ham's first team," he said.[LNB]"That was my aim from the start so it's one step up the ladder and I've got to push on from here."[LNB]However, left-back Matt Fry may be heading for the exit door after revealing on Twitter that he has been left out of the club's pre-season tour of Switzerland.
