Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis will turn out for West Ham in their pre-season friendly at Grays on Sunday. The 32-year-old club captain and player of the year is out of contract at St Mary's, with the uncertainty surrounding the future of the club meaning he could not be offered a new deal. Saints boss Mark Wotte remains hopeful of keeping Davis on the south coast once the proposed takeover of the club is completed. But the former Ipswich and Sunderland keeper has had a medical at Upton Park with Hammers manager Gianfranco Zola looking for back-up to England international Robert Green.
