David Sullivan slams QPR's 'ridiculous' £4m Scott Parker bid

Great Scott: Parker wants a return to the Premier League [LNB]West Ham have slammed QPR's 'ridiculous' bid for wantaway midfielder Scott Parker. [LNB]New Loftus Road owner Tony Fernandes marked his first day in the hotseat with a ?4million offer for last season's Footballer of the Year. [LNB]But West Ham co-owner David Sullivan,who is demanding an offer in the region of ?8m for Parker, described Fernandes's move as nothing more than a publicity stunt. [LNB] 'It's ridiculously low,' said Sullivan of QPR's bid. 'We see it as a cheap publicity stunt.[LNB] 'It's a bit like us bidding ?12m for Wayne Rooney.[LNB][LNB] 'We hope Scott is our player on September 1. 'But we respect the fact that he has given us four great years of service. [LNB] Welcome aboard: Fernandes was unveiled at Loftus Road on Thursday[LNB]'We also respect the fact he wants to move to a Premier League club to protect his position in the England team.[LNB] 'But unless we receive our valuation, he won't be sold.' [LNB]QPR are among a number of clubs chasing Parker's signature.
