Chiefs: West Ham co-owners Sullivan (left) and Gold[LNB]David Gold and David Sullivan have increased their stake in West Ham to 60 per cent.[LNB]The club's joint chairmen have each bought an extra five per cent of the club from previous owners CB Holdings for a total of £8million. Half of the money has gone to CB Holdings, with half poured into the club.[LNB]The duo had shared 50 per cent of the club when they initially took control in January, but both men now hold 30 per cent of the club. They have an option to buy the remaining 40 per cent from CB Holdings over the next three years. [LNB]Gold and Sullivan have ambitious plans for West Ham, with Sullivan revealing last week that, despite the club's large debt, they are pursuing Barcelona striker Thierry Henry and are said to be prepared to offer the striker £75,000-a-week wages.[LNB]The Hammers are currently without a manager, with the duo having sacked Gianfranco Zola after a poor Premier League campaign that saw the club narrowly avoid relegation. Avram Grant is widely expected to be named the new boss in the next week.[LNB]But Sullivan, in a statement on the club's website, reassured fans that he and Gold were committed to bringing long-term stability to Upton Park.[LNB] Narrow escape: West Ham came perilously close to relegation this season[LNB]'Myself and David Gold are, like you, West Ham United fans and our aim is to ensure our club enjoys a stable and successful future,' Sullivan told the club's website.[LNB] 'To this end, we have both invested a further £4m to increase our shareholding to 30 per cent each. [LNB]'We have a long-term intention of increasing our shareholding, while we have also invited professional investors to share in our vision for this special club. [LNB]'Also, in the near future we hope to extend to supporters the opportunity to invest in the club.[LNB] 'We are committed to putting West Ham on a firm financial footing that will form the basis, we hope, for success both on and off the pitch.'  [LNB] Atletico Mineiro slap £5m tag on West Ham and Liverpool target Tardelli West Ham boosted in Toni pursuit as Italian admits his future is up in the airHe'll cost them!
