Cole in fan bust-up
Hammers leading goalscorer Carlton Cole was involved in a bust-up with a Hammers fan following their poor home defeat to Wolves on Tuesday night. Cole took offence to the reaction of a number of supporters who openly criticised the players and the manager during and immediately following the Hammers’ terrible result against a spirited Wolves team. Fellow forward Benny McCarthy admitted witnessing the bust-up, “I thought Coley knew the guy at first as they were speaking normally," said Benny. "Eventually I saw some other players go back out and drag him inside. "Maybe what went on today got to him and he reacted the wrong way."
