Club confirm Sulejmani deal
West Ham have confirmed that they have sealed a deal with Dutch side AFC Ajax for the loan transfer of their Serbian international striker Miralem Sulejmani. The 21-year-old’s move to East London is currently being held up by a forthcoming work permit hearing. Sulejmani is Ajax’s record transfer signing, joining the club from Heerenveen in 2008 for £13.5 million but he failed to make much of an impact only scoring 12 goals in 68 games. Sulejmani’s arrival will certainly boost Avram Grants attacking options even further following the summer arrival of Pablo Barrera and Frederic Piquionne.
