Clarke demands results

West Ham assistant manager Steve Clarke has called on the players to kick their annoying habit of performing well yet ending up with nothing to show for it. Gianfranco Zola's side hosts fellow strugglers Fulham on Sunday in the knowledge they will kick-off in the Barclays Premier League relegation zone. The Hammers have lost three successive league games against Wigan, Liverpool and Manchester City but Clarke is confident the club will overcome their sticky patch. He said: "I was frustrated more than anything because I can see the talent we have in this group. "Against Liverpool we also played very well and against Tottenham we almost came out on top. It becomes frustrating when you know you have an ability to win matches against really good teams and suddenly find you are losing them. "But six games is too early to start pushing any panic buttons. In those six matches there have been a lot of good things to take from them. The only good things we haven't taken are the points."
