Bournemouth have confirmed that midfielder Anthony Edgar has returned to West Ham after the Football League refused an extension to his loan deal.[LNB] Despite the club being under a transfer embargo, Edgar's emergency one-month loan was sanctioned by the Football League in September as the Cherries were in danger of being unable to field a side.[LNB] However, the 19-year-old has been refused permission to stay a second month at Dean Court and returns to the Hammers having made four appearances.[LNB] "Anthony has gone back and the Football League have not allowed us to extend the loan at this moment in time," boss Eddie Howe told the Echo. [LNB] "We're disappointed to lose him because it leaves us very short of options on the left-hand side of midfield."
