West Ham's vice-chairman Karren Brady has given her backing to under-pressure Avram Grant, whilst suggesting that the owners will back their man in the January transfer window. Brady admitted that the board will share their portion of the flack currently being thrown at Grant by providing funds for reinforcements. "January gives us the ideal opportunity to do things help our football team,” said Brady. "Not only is he going to keep his job, but we also accept that we have responsibility.  We are the board, we put our hands in our pockets. "There are other things that can happen in terms of lifting the spirit, and bringing a sense of calm.  That very much comes from the top."
