Gianfranco Zola and Kevin Blackwell have both declared themselves happy that the Carlos Tevez saga has finally ended. The Tevez compensation battle was finally concluded on Monday when the two clubs reached an out-of-court settlement. Now both West Ham chief Zola and United boss Blackwell have revealed their delight that the case is no longer hanging over them. "I am just glad the Tevez affair is finished," Blackwell told Sky Sports. "I don't think it has been good for football - I know it has hung over both West Ham and Sheffield United and we are glad it has been put to bed. "The important thing is that the relationship between Sheffield United and West Ham has not been soured." Zola added that he was pleased West Ham could finally plan for the future after they agreed a deal which will see them pay United a figure believed to be around £15milion. "It is an important thing for the club," Zola said. "At least gives us the opportunity to plan for the future, we now know what is going to happen and we can plan for the future."
