Boffin ready for Hammers challenge
New West Ham goalkeeper Ruud Boffin is determined to make an impact at Upton Park.
Boffin, 22, was between the posts as the reserves beat Leicester 1-0 after arriving on transfer deadline day.
The Belgian, formerly of Dutch side MVV Maastricht, signed a two-year-deal following a trial with the club. He will provide competition for Robert Green and Marek Stech.
Boffin told the club`s official website: "I like the atmosphere here and it is a nice group.
"I will learn a lot from Robert. It is going to be a big challenge for me but I am ready."
