Birmingham drop lawsuit with former owners and now West Ham chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan

Birmingham have dropped their lawsuit with former owners David Gold and David Sullivan over the price paid for the Premier League club.[LNB]Current owner Carson Yeung, through his company Grandtop Holdings, bought the club for a reported £81.5m.[LNB]Yeung initially called in the West Midlands Police economic crime team over alleged 'financial irregularities' at the club, although any criminal investigation was ruled out.[LNB] New West Ham owners: David Gold and David Sullivan[LNB]And the club have now decided not to pursue the matter through the civil court after coming to an agreement with the Hammers hierarchy.[LNB]A statement on the Birmingham website read: 'Birmingham City Football Club canconfirm that a settlement agreement has been reached between themselves and theprevious owners for an undisclosed figure.[LNB]'The club shall cease the civil suit it had instituted and all related actions regarding this.
