Barrera Not Planning Hammers Return

Mexican international Pablo Barrera has told West Ham that he has no interest in returning to the club once his season-long loan at Real Zaragoza ends. Barrera who featured for the Hammers in their season opener against Cardiff City does not want to return to England even if West Ham achieve promotion promise this season.

Barrera was frozen out of the side last season under manager Avram Grant despite costing the club around £4million and impressing for Mexico in the 2010 World Cup Finals. The winger made his debut for Zaragoza in a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Real Madrid last month. Barrera was also on form for Mexico during the summer as his side were victorious in the Gold Cup. Barrera himself scoring twice in the final against the United States.
