West Ham's Andy Carroll is dreaming of FA Cup glory, a top-four finish and an England recall in time for Euro 2016.
The east Londoners' final season at the Boleyn Ground has been a memorable one, with Slaven Bilic's men currently fifth in the Barclays Premier League and just two points off a Champions League spot.
A trip to Wembley could also be on the cards - something that would have already been guaranteed had Anthony Martial not cancelled out a wondrous Dimitri Payet free-kick to take Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final with Manchester United to a replay.
Roy Hodgson was at Old Trafford for the 1-1 draw as Carroll impressed on his first start since January - a display he hopes caught the England manager's eye.
"I have three things to aim (for) with the club pushing for top four, the FA Cup final and making the England squad," he said.
"I don't want to be getting injured now, it would be the worst thing. I don't know why (the setbacks) happens, it just does. It's upsetting, really.
"It's been hard, I have been injured a lot. My run in the side hasn't been continuous, but it's still a dream to play for my country. It's something I want to do and I will never give up on it.
"I have great memories of Euro 2012 and would love to be there again.
"My love for my country is never going to go away. Hopefully, I will stay fit, keep playing, score goals and I will get a chance to go."
Carroll scored as England beat Sweden 3-2 at Euro 2012 - one of nine caps he has to his name, with the last coming against San Marino in October that year.
Asked if he had heard from Hodgson, the striker told the Evening Standard: "No, nothing at all. I know he has been at the games watching a few of us.
"We have some great English talent in the team. He is watching everyone and he has a tough job to do (to pick a squad). Hopefully, I can cause a bit of a headache for him and get myself in there.
"Having so many players to choose from means you have to leave a lot more out. It's a tough job for him but he knows how to deal with it."
The striker is not the only West Ham player to struggle to make his way into the national set-up, with Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell overlooked for recent squads despite impressive form.
The latter has shone at left-back since arriving from Ipswich in 2014 and impressed again in Sunday's 1-1 draw with United.
Few could have argued against Slaven Bilic's men winning the quarter-final, but it does set-up an exciting final cup match at the Boleyn Ground.
With the Olympic Stadium move looming large and having dominated large spells at Old Trafford, left-back Cresswell is hoping the quarter-final replay is a night to remember.
"We feel disappointed like we've lost the game, but the gaffer just said to us there it's a positive result, in a way," he said.
"Of course we were 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go and the lads were down coming in that we hadn't won the game.
"But then he said we are playing Man United away and it's a good thing that we're disappointed that we've only got a draw.
"We are looking forward to the replay now and it's a game at our place and we fancy it massively.
"It doesn't get much better - the quarter-final against Manchester United.
"It's going to be the last FA Cup tie at the Boleyn Ground and hopefully we can make it a special night for the fans.
"I am sure they are looking forward to that as well."
