West Brom continued their preparations for the new Premier League season by claiming a comfortable 4-2 win over student side Ventura County Fusion.

Scotland midfielder Graham Dorrans marked his first appearance in almost five months with a well-taken free-kick after just three minutes.

Simon Cox, Chris Brunt and Roman Bednar also got on the scoresheet for the Baggies as Roy Hodgson's side ultimately claimed a comfortable success at Oxnard College Stadium.

The midlands club will face MLS side Portland Timbers in the third game of their US Tour on Thursday.
