We`re doing okay - Di Matteo

Roberto Di Matteo has asked for West Brom's recent slump to be put into perspective compared with their previous starts to Barclays Premier League campaigns. The Baggies have taken 16 points from their opening 14 games despite collecting just one point from the last five matches. It compares favourably to their other Premier League seasons - 12 points from 14 games in 2002/03 and 2005/06 and 10 and 11 points respectively at the same stage in 2004/05 and 2008/09. Di Matteo, whose side visit Everton this weekend, said: "Compared to two seasons ago, we are in a much better position now. "West Brom were then on 15 points after 19 games. We achieved that after nine games this season. I would have liked a few more points than we've got now but it`s not a bad return." Di Matteo added: "We know we've had a little dip in the last month or so but there have been reasons. We've had a few suspensions and injuries and a few decisions have gone against us."
