Midfielder joins Villarreal with view to permanent deal Record signing Borja Valero has again been loaned out after expressing a wish to return to Spain.  The £4.7 million man spent last season on loan at former club Real Mallorca after a disappointing Premier League bow.  Valero has now moved to Villarreal for the season with a view to a permanent deal.     It was expected the 25-year-old would join Sevilla after expressing an interest to sign for the Rojiblancos.  However, Sevilla failed to meet Albion’s valuation for the former Real Madrid youth player leaving him in limbo.  Valero reported back for pre-season in July with the Baggies but, for the second season running, failed to make a friendly appearance and returned to Spain to train with Villarreal after the El Submarino Amarillo expressed an interest.  "After relegation in 2009 we agreed to loan Borja to Real Mallorca,” said sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth. "On the back of an outstanding season in Spain and taking into account his professional and personal wishes, we decided to accept an offer from Villarreal. "I'd like to thank Borja for his contribution and his professional attitude throughout the last two years. "And we wish him well over the coming season."
