Vale secure friendlies

Port Vale will welcome midlands duo Wolves and West Brom to Vale Park as part of their pre-season preparations. Mick McCarthy's Coca-Cola Championship winners will face Vale on Wednesday, July 22 as they gear up for the Barclays Premier League campaign. West Brom, who were relegated from the top-flight last term and are currently fighting to ward off interest from Celtic in their manager Tony Mowbray, are hosted by Micky Adams' side a week later. Meanwhile Adams holding contract talks with Paul Edwards, Luke Prosser and Ross Davidson whose present deals expire at the end of this month.
