George Thorne has joined Championship side Watford on a youth loan until the start of January.
The 20-year-old joins the Hornets to gain much needed match fitness after battling back from a serious knee injury last season.
Thorne, who is yet to feature for the Baggies this term, has continued his recovery in Albion’s U-21 side – playing the full 90 minutes in yesterday’s victory at Sunderland.
He was initially set to join the Vicarage Road club earlier this season, but the Baggies decided to keep Thorne at The Hawthorns to continue his rehabilitation.
Albion have the right to recall the youngster after 28 days.
