Myhill calls for caution

Boaz Myhill is refusing to get carried away after Albion’s flying start to the season.

Myhill played in the Hull City side which took the Premier League by storm in the opening months but they had to avoid relegation on the final day of the season.

The Wales goalkeeper is not expected the same thing to happen with Steve Clarke’s side but warned there’s place for complacency in the Premier League.

“If you take your eye off the ball in this league you struggle,” he said.

“I've played in sides which have had unbelievable starts in the Premier League and all of a sudden you can't buy a point.

“You can come unstuck and we have to avoid doing that if we’re to carry on the way we're going.

“You have to do the simple things well and put faith in the management and staff.

“If we do that we will get to where we want to be.”
