Tranmere's on-loan striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury and has returned to West Bromwich Albion. The 18-year-old scored five goals for Rovers in his 16 appearances and was on standby for the England Under-19s. [LNB]"Lateef has had another scan and they found that he's got a bit of irritation and needs resting," Rovers boss Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside. [LNB]"He won't play for us again this season, which is a massive loss." [LNB]Parry says he may need to add to his squad before the end of Thursday's loan transfer deadline. [LNB]"It does leave us a little bit thin up-top and we need to be looking at bringing a striker in," Parry added. "We're not bringing in someone in just to fill a space. [LNB]"If we don't get the right person, we're quite happy with what we've got."
