Boss believes there's no advantage in Midlands clashes Baggies head coach Roberto Di Matteo is looking forward to his first taste of local derbies next season insisting there’s no clear favourite when local rivals clash.  The Italian knows all about heated rivalries after playing for Lazio against Roma and for Chelsea against fellow London clubs but is yet to experience a Black Country derby or clash against Aston Villa or Birmingham City.  "Last summer when I joined, one of the first things the fans told me was about the local rivalry with Wolves," he said.  "I think it's going to be very interesting to play so many teams from the area. "They definitely add a different juice to the game when they are derbies. "I have played in many myself and there are no real favourites. "Somebody might be higher up the table and somebody else might be lower but you go into that game and anybody can win. "I'm sure there will be some great atmospheres in those games. "We can't really choose derbies. "That's the way it's going to be and you just have to try to enjoy them and try to get the best out of the games rather than thinking there are too many of them. "It will be great to measure ourselves against those teams."
