Owen Hargreaves is not a priority for West Bromwich

[LNB]West Bromwich are focusing on other transfer targets before looking at the possibility of signing Owen Hargreaves according to Baggies assistant boss Michael Appleton. [LNB]The former Manchester United midfielder has been linked with a move to the Hawthorns this summer but Appleton insists the club have not opened talks with the 30-year-old yet. [LNB]Appleton, however, did confirm the Baggies would definitely be interested in signing moving the ex- Bayern Munich player.[LNB] Unlucky: Owen Hargreaves's time at Manchester United was disrupted by a number of injuries over the years[LNB]But only if Hargreaves, whose spell at Old Trafford was plagued by injuries - was fit for Barclays Premier League action.[LNB]When asked if there have been any discussions between West Brom and Hargreaves, he told Sportinglife.com: 'Not that I'm aware of. In terms of Owen Hargreaves I think there will be a lot of clubs who are interested in him if he's fit or anywhere near fit to play football.[LNB]'I'm sure we will probably be one of the clubs interested if that's the situation but from our point of view we have a couple of key players we want to get in the building before we worry about Owen Hargreaves.'[LNB]In a bid to convince doubters he was fit, the former England star posted a video on YouTube earlier this month, of him training.
