Olsson wants top-half finish

Defender Jonas Olsson has urged West Brom not to let their season fizzle out after guaranteeing Barclays Premier League football for another campaign. The Baggies suffered only their second defeat in 10 games under head coach Roy Hodgson when beaten 3-1 by Wolves in Sunday's derby at Molineux. Olsson takes satisfaction from Albion achieving their number one goal of staying up but is now targeting a top-half finish. The Sweden international said: "I am disappointed but we have achieved the big goal for the season. We lost the battle yesterday (Sunday) but throughout the season we won the war. "Losing the derby doesn't take the shine off the bigger picture but, once you're there, you set new goals. If we can finish eighth or ninth, I want to do so. The top half of the table would be a great performance for us. We have had a good season and we don't want to finish it with a bad taste." Olsson added: "We've got safe but you don't want to lose your last three games. I want a good result against Everton and against Newcastle. We want to finish on a high so we'll feel bad for a few days and then let's make Everton pay for it on Saturday."
