Matchwinner Stephen Hunt has urged Wolves to use yesterday's 1-0 derby triumph over Birmingham as a springboard going into Sunday`s Black Country showdown with local rivals West Brom.[LNB]Huge win: Stephen Hunt applauds the Wolves fans after his vital goal[LNB]Hunt bagged his second goal in three games to clinch three massive points for Wanderers in the first part of their derby double-header at Molineux, moving Mick McCarthy`s side back within touching distance of safety at the foot of the table.[LNB]They are now looking to secure back-to-back wins for the first time this season, and what better place to do it than at The Hawthorns in what is the inaugural Barclays Premier League meeting between the midlands neighbours.[LNB]'We needed that win,' said Hunt, whose near-post finish on the stroke of half-time proved the difference against Alex McLeish's side.[LNB]'(The timing of the goal) gave us a lift. I know I was the one who scored but we don't half work hard as a team. That was the main thing.[LNB]'It's a platform now to go on away from home next week (at West Brom), they're a good footballing team. We have to crack on now and get our season going.[LNB]'I'm led to believe it`s the biggest game of the season. I saw the reception Lee Hughes got here (playing for Notts County earlier this season), it should be fun. It will be a good derby game.'[LNB] Now for the Baggies: Stephen Hunt (left) gets the better of Birmingham's Stephen Carr at Molineux [LNB]Wolves, who were missing more than 10 players due to injury, were fully deserving of yesterday's win, with Blues not even managing to register a shot on target. And most pleasing for Hunt was the club`s first shut-out since April.[LNB]'The clean sheet was massive,' he added. 'I think that was the main point during the week - keep a clean sheet and we'd score a goal.[LNB]'I think we've scored in most games this year, there`s only maybe three or four we haven't scored in.'[LNB] Wolverhampton 1 Birmingham 0: Hunt strikes to relieve pressure on McCarthyManchester City's outcast Johnson eyes career-saving Wolves loan moveSteve Bull: Wolves' Premier League fate will be decided in next three gamesAston Villa 2 West Brom 1: Derby win puts Houllier back in the good booksShowdown in the Midlands: Legends deliver their weekend derby verdictsWOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS FC
