No panic at The Hawthorns

Foster and Odemwingie staying calm Goalkeeper Ben Foster and striker Peter Odemwingie insist it’s not panic stations just yet at The Hawthorns. The Baggies’ 3-0 defeat to Swansea at the weekend sent Albion bottom of the league after the first five games. Despite playing well against Manchester United and Chelsea in Albion’s opening two games, performances have quickly dropped and culminated in a horror show at The Liberty Stadium. But Foster, who has been relegated twice from the Premier League, believes its only a matter of time before the Baggies come good. "There is definitely no panic in the dressing room," said the former England international. “I've been relegated from the Premier League twice with Watford and Birmingham last season. "I know what it takes in the squad to survive in the Premier League. "We've definitely got an abundance of talent and goals in the team. "That's the most important thing. "It didn't happen on Saturday but I'm sure we have got a good few goals in the team." Foster’s thoughts were echoed by Peter Odemwingie. The Nigerian international admits the performance against the Swans was not good enough on Saturday, but now he’s focused on making amends against Fulham this weekend. "It was obviously not the result we were looking for," said Odemwingie. "These are games that you always want to forget - and there are always bad days during the season. "Now we have to forget this and get our points at home on Saturday. "It is a home game and we have lost the first two, so we want to win and have the feeling of a home victory. "We want to build up our confidence for the coming home games." Should Albion fans be worried after four defeats in five games? Have your say at Baggies Banter here.
