West Brom midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has extended his stay at the Hawthorns by signing a new two-year deal. The Congo international has had an excellent start to the season, and has been rewarded with a new contract which also includes the option of a third year. Mulumbu only signed a permanent deal with the Baggies in July after moving from Paris Saint-Germain, but manager Roberto Di Matteo thought the 22-year-old deserved an extended stay. "I'm pleased with how Youssouf has started the season and he is very much part of our plans," he told the club's official website. "He's an exciting, young, holding midfielder who will hopefully keep improving."
