Midfielder pens improved deal Youssouf Mulumbu has followed in the footsteps of Graham Dorrans by committing his future to the club.  The combative 23-year-old has signed a new two-year deal, with a further year in the club’s favour. The former PSG man, who signed permanently at the start of last season for just £175,000, was one of Albion’s stand-out performers last season.  He featured 46 times in all competitions and managed to find the net three times in the league. For his efforts he’s received glowing praise from Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo, who predicted a bright future for the DR Congo man. "Youssouf was one of about five players who played in the majority of our games last season and he played a major role in our success,” said the head coach. "He was only out of the team a short while when I played Gonzalo Jara in the middle. "The great thing about Youssouf is that he's a very humble guy who wants to learn. "He's also going to get better and better because he is still young."
