Mulumbu eager for Premier League test

Midfielder relishing return to top flight Youssouf Mulumbu has revealed he’s got unfinished business in the Premier League next season after injury hampered his last spell in the top flight.  The former PSG midfielder joined the Baggies in January during the 2008/2009 season but had to wait until April to make his debut.  The former France Under-21 international was restricted to just two starts and four appearances from the bench that season but played a pivotal role this term in helping the Baggies achieve automatic promotion at the first opportunity.  Mulumbu believes this season’s experience of Championship football has been good for his development and can’t wait to test himself against England’s elite again.  "It was a good season for me,” the midfielder said.  "I started very well and the first ten games were very good. "I enjoyed this season and I expect next season will be even better. "When I came to the club first it was very hard to stay in the Premier League but I expected to play more. "I played good this season and now I'm happy because we've got promoted and we will get to play very good teams like Chelsea and Manchester United. "I think it's very good for everyone and we're all happy. "I'm looking forward to playing in the Premier League because I came here, I got injured and only played six games last season. "I didn't get to show everything I think I can show in the Premier League. "Now I think it's my time and I pray everything is alright and I have no injuries. "I expect a good, good season next year."
