Hodgson impressed with midfielder Roy Hodgson has praised midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu for his displays since he took over. The former PSG man bagged his fifth goal of the season against the Black Cats on Saturday and has impressed Albion’s head coach with his performances in the Baggies’ engine room. Hodgson admits he is unsure of Mulumbu’s progress this season, but still expects him to improve between now and the end of the season.   "Youssouf was very good at Sunderland," said the former Liverpool and Fulham boss. "I can't talk about progress because I don't know what he was doing before I arrived here. "But since I joined Albion, he has done very well. "Youssouf and Paul are interpreting their midfield roles better and better and I hope they'll continue doing that until the end of the season. "Youssouf has popped up with some important goals while I've been here - one against Birmingham and another at Sunderland. "I'm certain he is feeling very good about himself - and we're very pleased to have him." Can Mulumbu improve even more this season? Have your say on Baggies Banter here.
