Morrison hoping to end hoodoo Scottish international James Morrison is hoping to end the Stoke’s impressive run against the Baggies this Saturday (KO 3pm). The midfielder was part of the Albion side which lost 2-0 to the Potters the last time they beat Albion two seasons ago. But the midfielder, who hopes to be fit after missing Scotland’s game against the Faroe Islands, aims to redress Stoke’s unbeaten streak against this weekend. “Our record isn't great against them but we've been full of surprises this season and maybe we can turn that around. “I've played them a few times and they've always been tough games. “We expect another one on Saturday.” The former Middlesbrough man admits Albion have suffered a dip in form recently, but overall has been pleased with the club’s start to the season. “Results haven't gone well for us in the last couple of weeks,” he added. “But we knew it would be a tough season. “And we'd have taken the points we have with a third of the season gone. “We've been strong at home and we have a home game coming up now, so we have to be positive. “It's important to try and pick up points from the teams around us. “We didn't do it on Saturday against Wigan but the fight was there so that's a good sign.”
