Two-goal Steven Fletcher helped lift Wolves out of the Barclays Premier League bottom three with a 3-1 victory over local rivals West Brom at Molineux. The Scotland international took his tally to four goals in four games to end a five-match run without a win for Mick McCarthy's side. Fletcher`s first came when Stephen Hunt's corner was flicked on by Adlene Guedioura inside the six-yard box and he applied the finishing touch. His second followed a mistake by Abdoulaye Meite. The Baggies defender looked to have covered a through ball from Kevin Foley but he allowed the ball to slip under his foot and left Fletcher with a clear run at goal and he kept his cool before clipping the ball past Scott Carson into the corner of the net. In between, Guedioura had made it 2-0 when another Hunt corner was headed back across goal by Fletcher and the unmarked Algerian volleyed home from close range. Peter Odemwingie gave Albion a ray of hope from the penalty spot after Guedioura brought down Jerome Thomas, who soon afterwards hammered a shot against the crossbar after seizing onto a pass from Somen Tchoyi.
