Leigh Griffiths joins Wolves from Dundee in £150k deal

Wolves have have signed Dundee striker Leigh Griffiths, 20, in a £150,000 deal on a two-and-a-half year contract.[LNB]The 20-year-old is Wolves' second signing of the week after Barnsley's Adam Hammill made a £500,000 switch.[LNB] Two-and-a-half year deal: Leigh Griffiths (above) is set to sign for Wolves after impressing on trial[LNB]Griffiths had previously had a trial with Wolves local rivals West Brom during Tony Mowbray's reign as manager.[LNB]He has netted 10 times this season out of a total of 29 in 56 appearances for Dundee.[LNB] Thumbs up: Mick McCarthy has been impressed with Griffiths' goalscoring record[LNB]McCarthy said: 'Look, with the greatest respect to Leigh, I don't want anyone thinking we are signing a Premier League striker that is going to come in and rip it up at the moment because that is not the case.[LNB] 'What we shouldn't take our eye off, is what we have always done, and that is sign players who we think might be valuable to us and be a bargain. [LNB] 'We've done it in the past, the Wards, Foleys, Edwards, Kightlys, you can name lots and lots of them we have done shrewd deals for and they have been good and smart deals.
