Jara to return

The Great Gonzo back after injury and World Cup lay-off Gonzalo Jara is in line for his first appearance in Albion colours in six months against Osasuna on Saturday (KO 3pm). The versatile defender and midfield had been sidelined through injury after breaking a metatarsal against Reading back in February.  The former Colo Colo man won his battle against fitness to play in the World Cup in the summer and had an extended break from training. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo expressed his delight at Jara’s return but refused to say how much he’d feature in Albion’s final pre-season fixture. "Gonzo will be involved in some capacity on Saturday," said the Italian. "I can't say at this stage for how long because this is his first week back at the club. "But we will assess his condition during the rest of the week before deciding what to do with him on Saturday. "It's fantastic news that he's back and ready to play because we missed him at the end of last season. "He's a quality player and I'm looking forward to seeing him progress in the Premier League."
