Honours even at Hawthorns

West Brom and Bolton took a point apiece from a lively 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns. Wanderers went in front midway through the second half through Johan Elmander but the Baggies responded well and drew level in the 78th minute when James Morrison nodded in. The visitors took the lead in the 64th minute. A neat build-up led to Kevin Davies laying the ball into the path of Elmander, who broke into the box to notch his fourth of the season. Peter Odemwingie had a great chance after an error by Zat Knight, but he dragged his shot wide. The forward soon made amends, though, showing some tidy footwork before flighting a wonderful cross for Morrison to make it 1-1.
