Hodgson looking to future

West Brom boss Roy Hodgson has already started mapping out plans for next season. Hodgson has guided Albion to Barclays Premier League safety with 16 points from nine games since he took charge. He says new signings will be needed if the Baggies are to build on halting their trend of yo-yoing in between the top flight and the Championship but he will not be looking for a host of big-money captures. Hodgson said: "If I'm being honest the plans for next season have been going on anyway. We've had numerous meetings in the last month to discuss lots of players. "Of course, there is always an element that one type of players which could have been beyond us if we hadn't stayed up. "But we aren't just starting now. We've been working for a long time and our success, if we're going to have any in the future, will be built on the foundations we've got already."
