Albion have already made an offer to the injury-plagued 30-year-old England international, who is available on a free transfer following his departure from Manchester United at the end of last season.
However, Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson muddied the waters this week by admitting an interest in Hargreaves, who posted videos on Youtube to prove he is now over the injury problems which restricted him to just 27 appearances in a four-year spell at Old Trafford.But, it is being reported that, having pondered the Baggies offer, Hargreaves has agreed to hold more contract talks which could see him eventually join Roy Hodgson's squad and resurrect his career in the Premier League.
