West Brom non-executive director Jeff Farmer has stepped down with immediate effect.

Farmer, a former national newspaper journalist and ex-head of sports productions at ITV, has been on the Baggies board for eight years. He was Albion's press relations and media consultant and has left for personal reasons.

Farmer said: "My decision has been taken for personal reasons and a desire to concentrate on other priorities in my life. The departure of Roberto Di Matteo as head coach has not directly influenced my decision."
