On the move: Greening is heading for Craven Cottage[LNB]Fulham are set to complete a £4million deal for West Brom skipper Jonathan Greening.[LNB]Roy Hodgson has spent the summer attempting to tempt the Baggies into selling their star and an agreement has finally been reached.[LNB]The negotiations between the clubs prompted West Brom boss Di Matteo to opt against playing the 30-year-old midfielder in Tuesday night's 3-2 win at Peterborough.   [LNB]Greening handed in a transfer request after a £4m offer from Fulham was rejected last month.  [LNB]'Basically the two clubs are negotiating,' Di Matteo said earlier on Wednesday.[LNB] 'His team-mates are fighting for a cause. I didn't feel it was right for him to be involved last night. He's been a great professional for us. I spoke to him before the game. There has been a lot going on for him in the last five or six weeks but, once again, I have to emphasise he's been very good for us.   [LNB]'He's been a true professional and it was my decision to pull him out last night.'[LNB]Following a quiet two months in the transfer window that saw only Stephen Kelly and Bjorn Helge Riise sign, there has been a flurry of activity at Craven Cottage this week.  [LNB]Republic of Ireland winger Damien Duff joined from Newcastle for £4m and a decision on Greening is expected within 48 hours. [LNB]Meanwhile, Melbourne Victory are trying to re-sign Adrian Leijer.[LNB] The defender has struggled at Craven Cottage since joining in 2007 and was sent out on loan to Norwich City last season. Leijer was a member of Melbourne's championship-winning side in 2006-07.[LNB] Villa, Fulham and Everton in three-way battle for Toon defender TaylorDuff latest to leave Newcastle as winger signs a three-year deal with FulhamAngry Chamakh sets Monday deadline for West Ham or Arsenal to save himPortsmouth 0 Fulham 1: Diplomatic Murphy says Hart's side can surviveFULHAM FC
