Dorrans prepared for Swans test
Midfielder hoping to end impressive Swansea record Graham Dorrans has set his sights on Albion becoming only the third team to beat Swansea since September. After a mixed start to the season the Swans have only lost to Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest beating the Baggies in the process back in mid-October. The Scotland international is now hoping for some sort of revenge against Paulo Sousa’s men after back-to-back victories against Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool. The fixture at the Liberty Stadium (KO 19.45) sees Albion, the division’s highest scorers, face a Swan’s team who have only found the net 31- times – forty less than the Baggies – with Dorrans relying on Albion’s extra quality. “We'll rest up and prepare well for tomorrow,” the midfielder said. "It's a tough place to go but hopefully we can go there and get a good result. "A lot of teams have gone there and lost or dropped points so if we can go there and win the game it would be a great statement. "Hopefully, we can do that - and we've certainly got the players to do it. "We know it'll be a tough game but I'm sure we'll match them." The former Livingston man also singled out Robert Koren for special praise after the Slovenian captain scored his second 25-yard screamer inside a week. “'Roko' is such a great player," he continued. "He's captain of his country and deservedly so. "He's a fantastic player who does that kind of thing in training every day. "It's great to have him in the team. "Hopefully, Roko can help us along with some of the other boys. "We've got experienced people like Chris Brunt, who has been in and around these things, and Dean Kiely, in the squad. "We've got a lot of experience as well as youth so hopefully we can gel together for a final push."
