Stoke City v Manchester UtdKick-off: Friday, 12.45pmTV: Sky Sports 1[LNB]Scolari's side have drawn two and lost one of their last three games at Stamford Bridge and on Monday they surrendered their 100 per cent away record with a 0-0 draw at Everton, where captain John Terry was shown a straight red card and Brazilian defender Alex was lucky to escape a similar fate after appearing to stamp on Tim Cahill. [LNB]Terry is now banned for three matches and Alex, who has been quoted as saying he is unhappy at Chelsea, could be put up for sale as Ricardo Carvalho nears full fitness after being sidelined since the beginning of October with a knee injury. [LNB]"People are talking correctly because we have lost 15 points at home. That is incredible," admitted Scolari.[LNB] "But they [the opposition] close down very well and sometimes we make a mistake with the last pass. This season is different from other seasons and we need to understand this."[LNB]The Brazilian accepts he will have to sell to finance any additions to a squad that, despite Anelka's 16 goals this season, looks decidedly short on firepower, especially in Drogba's absence through injury and suspension. [LNB]But Scolari has backed Anelka's assertion that the Frenchman and Drogba can still form a potent partnership. [LNB]"He believes, I believe, all the people believe," said Scolari. "They need training and need confidence. [LNB]"We discussed this week when one team play with two central defenders and two more in front, what can I do, what positions we use when we have the ball because we need to open this. [LNB]"They have more confidence with changes in the game than before. Now some players are ready completely. I want to put him [Drogba] to start some games because he is ready now." [LNB]Meanwhile, former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has spoken of his dislike of dealing with the Italian media and his desire to return to the Premier League. [LNB]"For one hour I have to speak with the press and I really hate it," said the Inter Milan coach.[LNB] "I will never enjoy it.One day I will go back to England because I love it [there] and one day I will go to Spain and win La Liga."
