Jones ready to go back to basics

Albion right back Billy Jones believes the Baggies need to go back to basics to end their losing streak.

After losing three of the last four games, defender Jones says Albion need to go back to square against Blackburn this Saturday.

The Baggies have already amassed 36 points this season and another three points would virtually guarantee another top flight campaign.

But with Rovers themselves fighting for their Premier League survival, Jones realises the importance of the fixture.

“Blackburn at home is a massive game," said Jones.

"We need to go back to the drawing board.

"We'll watch the videos and learn from the Everton game, the Newcastle game, and even the Wigan game before that.

"We need to look at what we have done wrong in comparison with the performances we were putting in against the likes of Sunderland and Chelsea.

"The gaffer and the other coaching staff always work hard at looking at previous games, so we know where we can improve, and to ensure we are prepared for the next game."
