West Bromwich Albion defender Neil Clement is optimistic that he could return to action before the end of the season.[LNB] Clement is currently sidelined after undergoing knee surgery, and early indications suggested he would miss the remainder of the campaign.[LNB]However, the 30-year-old has resumed jogging as part of his rehabilitation and is hopeful of making his comeback ahead of schedule.[LNB]He said: "It is a big landmark I have reached in the last couple of couple days by able to do some jogging. I'm working hard in the gym and I am happy with the way things are progressing.[LNB]Realistic"It is a slow process but I have done everything right. It's February now and I am looking two months down the line.[LNB]"That would only leave a month of the season to go but that would still be fine if I could make it.[LNB]"It happened last season when I managed to get back from the problem in the other knee and we got promoted.[LNB]"It would be nice to come back this season and do the same and for West Brom stay up but we will see what happens.[LNB]"It's true I would like to play again this season but I don't want to get my hopes up too much because then I'd be devastated if I don't get back."[LNB]
