As Baggies receive Morrison and Cech boost Albion captain Scott Carson has welcomed the distraction of an FA Cup replay against Reading after the Baggies first defeat in ten games.  Roberto Di Matteo’s men came unstuck against Bristol City on Sunday with Carson glad to have a temporary respite against the Royals. The Baggies could set up a sixth-round tie against neighbours Aston Villa – providing both teams win their replays – with the England international hoping to arrange a date with his former club. "We weren't expecting that level of performance in the second half on Sunday and we could do with a boost tomorrow," the stopper admitted. "We want to get through and, who knows, maybe we will get Villa in the next round. "We know we've got other priorities in the League - but this is the FA Cup. "I've never been this far and to be just two games from Wembley is exciting for everyone. "Reading will be a tough game but we've got to be positive and make sure we get the right result to take in to the Derby game on Saturday. "What we don't want tomorrow is extra-time. "It's bad enough we have a replay because we could have done with the time off this week to help clear injuries. "But we know there's a big prize waiting for us if we can get good results in the cup. "Obviously, a lot of football has to be played but we know that we could have a big local derby if we get past Reading and if Villa beat Palace. "Of course, that has to be put to the back of our minds because we have to get a result against Reading first." On the eve of Reading’s trip to The Hawthorns Albion have been given a massive boost with James Morrison and Marek Cech both included in the matchday squad.  Scotland international Morrison has been sidelined for ten months with Roberto Di Matteo urging caution on the returning star. "We've been waiting for him for almost a whole season," Di Matteo said. "We know how important a player he can be for us. "I wouldn't put too high hopes on him coming into the team and being on top of his game. "It's going to take him a little while to get into the rhythm of the games. "He's quite positive and he's looking forward to being involved again. "It's been very frustrating for him to be out this long."
