Experienced coach Terry Burton has joined Albion’s backroom staff following Michael Appleton’s departure to Portsmouth.
The 59-year-old former Wimbledon boss has been appointed first team coach with Keith Downing promoted to Albion’s No.2.
Burton joins after leaving Cardiff City in the summer where he was part of Dave Jones’ coaching set-up before the former Wolves boss was dismissed.
He brings more than 30-years’ experience in coaching after plying his trade at clubs including Arsenal and Watford.
His role is on an interim basis until the end of the season.
